Carbon Monoxide Awareness When Boating

Carbon monoxide awareness and safety is key for people who operate watercraft, since CO can be potentially deadly.

Carbon monoxide can cause headache, nausea, weakness and dizziness and in mild cases is often written off as seasickness.

Check out the U.S. Coastguard’s carbon monoxide site for more safety information:  http://www.uscgboating.org/safety/carbon_monoxide.aspx

Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless and tasteless, so unless you use a CO detector, you won’t even notice its presence.
